Hands-on SSR expertise, including session failover configurations and performance optimization in high-availability systems. Proficiency with state replication for firewalls, load balancers, and routers. Experience with HSRP, VRRP, SSO (Cisco), or other redundancy protocols. Advanced understanding of networking protocols and technologies: DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VLANs, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VPN, and NAT/PAT. In-depth experience configuring and troubleshooting routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless solutions from leading vendors (Cisco, Juniper, F5, Palo Alto, or similar). Expertise with Ansible for automation and orchestration, including: Writing custom playbooks and roles. Automating configuration management and deployment processes for network devices. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with containerization and cloud networking technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, or GCP).
