Responsibilities

• Develop object oriented software in Python, working with object oriented databases and grid computing on the proprietary platform.

• Build data transfer tools to replicate data from a NoSQL datastore into an Oracle Exadata environment.

• Contribute throughout the full software development lifecycle.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and follow Agile delivery practices.

Required Experience

• Hands on experience writing object oriented Python, with the ability to produce clean, enterprise level code on a proprietary platform.

• Strong experience designing, optimizing, and tuning SQL database tables and queries.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Experience

• Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes. The team is shifting from a monolithic architecture toward microservices, so knowledge here will help support that transition.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $80.00/hr.
