Training Course Developer / Instructor โ€“ Operational ELINT (OpELINT)

Electronic Intelligence | Signal Analysis | Technical Instruction | Curriculum Development


Tensley Consulting is seeking an Operational Electronic Intelligence (OpELINT) Course Developer and Instructor to support the creation, delivery, and continuous improvement of training programs focused on electronic signal analysis. This role involves designing technical courseware, teaching diverse audiences, and maintaining expertise in analytical methods used to interpret complex signal emissions and related electronic systems.


This position is ideal for a technically skilled instructor who can translate advanced analytical concepts into clear, structured training materials while staying up to date on evolving tools, technologies, and analytic practices.


Key Responsibilities


-Develop new OpELINT course modules, training materials, and instructional content.

-Maintain the accuracy, quality, and currency of existing OpELINT courses and presentations.

-Provide expert instruction and clearly communicate complex technical concepts to students and professionals.

-Gather feedback from learners and stakeholders and incorporate improvements into course content.

-Collaborate with technical experts, curriculum designers, and training stakeholders to enhance course relevance and instructional design.

-Maintain awareness of emerging techniques, tools, and trends relevant to OpELINT and signal analysis.


Qualifications


-Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical teaching, training development, or curriculum design (military, academic, or industry).

-Candidates without a technical bachelorโ€™s degree may qualify with equivalent experience in operational ELINT or related analytical fields.

-Candidates with a technical bachelorโ€™s degree (Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physical Sciences, etc.) may qualify with reduced experience requirements.

-Approximately 8 years of experience in OpELINTโ€‘related analysis or operations (experience level may vary depending on education).


Technical Experience Requirements

Experience with one or more of the following:


-Python programming

-Machine learning applications


Preferred Qualities


-Strong verbal and written communication skills.

-Ability to collaborate effectively during course development and reviews.

-Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse learner groups.

-Commitment to maintaining technical expertise and instructional excellence.


Education / Experience


-Bachelorโ€™s degree in a technical field preferred, but equivalent experience may be considered.

-Additional certifications, technical coursework, or applied project work may be accepted in place of formal education.

-A security clearance is required to apply.

-Candidates must have an active TS/SCI +Poly


Salary

-$135,000-153,000

-Salary range is dependent on experience, technical depth, qualifications, and contract requirements.
