Our client is a leading tech-driven quant and systematic hedge fund trading with offices across the globe. They leverage deep knowledge in data, research, technology and trading to deliver high-quality returns. This opportunity offers a dynamic and fast-paced environment with excellent scope for career growth.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Python QD to join the growing energy desk. You'll act as liaison across the research & trading desks and the engineering team to provide tools, models and reports for energy supply-and-demand analysis. Working closely with global technology teams, you'll leverage systems and cloud platforms for scalable and long-term solutions
If you're a rigorous, analytical problem-solver, able to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously, this role would be perfect for you!
Requirements
  • 4+ years' experience developing industrial-strength, mission-critical Python
  • Strong software engineering skills designing clean, maintainable solutions
  • Ability to work both independently and collaborating across a global team
  • Familiarity with power/energy markets is preferred
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) is a plus
