Job Description:
What is the role?
We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to lead the architecture, development, and scaling of our cloud-native data and analytics platform within the Cloud Delivery & Insights organization.
This role will focus on designing and delivering modern data solutions leveraging Snowflake, Databricks, and cloud-native technologies. As a Senior Engineer, this individual will act as a technical leader and force multiplier, driving architectural standards, influencing cross-team decisions, and enabling our AI-first and data-driven strategy.
What will you be doing?
  • Lead architecture and design of scalable native applications
  • Drive best practices for performance, cost optimization, and reliability
  • Partner with product, data, and platform teams to deliver business-critical solutions
  • Enable AI/ML and advanced analytics through high-quality, accessible data systems
  • Establish engineering standards, design patterns, and governance practices
  • Mentor engineers and conduct architecture/design reviews
  • Ensure operational excellence through monitoring, observability, and incident response
  • Influence technical roadmap and long-term platform strategy

What credentials/education do you need?
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • Strong expertise in Snowflake, Databricks/Apache Spark, Python, and SQL
  • Experience with cloud platforms
  • Proven experience designing and operating large-scale, production systems

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a technical field

Experience with:
  • Preferred experience in Snowflake, Databricks/Apache Spark,
  • Data orchestration tools (Airflow, Dagster, etc.)
  • Data modeling and lakehouse architectures
  • CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
  • Data governance and security practices
  • Exposure to AI/ML pipelines or feature engineering
