Job description


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Testing and Validation Specialist to join our dynamic healthcare IT team. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy, security, and compliance of our data migration processes and new application development within the healthcare sector.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute detailed test plans and validation protocols to ensure the quality and integrity of data migration from legacy systems to new platforms.
  • Work closely with data architects and project managers to understand data schemas, and integration workflows.
  • Validate the functionality, performance, and scalability of new healthcare applications under development.
  • Identify, document, and troubleshoot any issues found during testing, providing detailed reports and recommendations for resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards such as HIPAA and GDPR, as well as internal data governance and security policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, system architects, and product managers to refine systems and improve user experience.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest testing methodologies, tools, and trends in healthcare technology.
  • Provide training and support to other team members on best practices for testing and validation.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
