Job description

We're looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer with strong Python experience and a product mindset. You'll work closely with our customers to design and build the core infrastructure that powers our AI-first RCM platform. You'll have a front-row seat to user feedback and help shape not just the tech, but the product itself.
About the Role:
  • Design and implement backend services and APIs using Python (FastAPI or similar)
  • Work directly with customers to understand needs, gather feedback, and build solutions
  • Integrate LLMs and AI agents into operational workflows
  • Own system design decisions related to performance, reliability, and scale
  • Lead technical projects from architecture through deployment
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, AI, and Ops teams
  • Help shape engineering best practices, mentoring junior developers as we grow

About You:
  • 3+ years of backend engineering experience, with deep Python expertise
  • Strong background in building and scaling APIs, services, and distributed systems
  • Proven ability to work closely with end users and translate feedback into product improvements
  • Experience with modern infrastructure (Docker, cloud platforms, CI/CD)
  • Familiarity with databases (PostgreSQL preferred) and async programming
  • Bonus: experience in AI, LLMs, or healthcare tech (especially RCM)
  • Bonus: startup or 0→1 experience
