Role Summary
The Snowflake Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions on Snowflake, leveraging Talend ETL and Python based automation. The role supports ARGO's enterprise data platform, enabling reliable ingestion, transformation, and consumption of insurance data across business domains.
Key Responsibilities
Snowflake Development
โ€ข Design and develop Snowflake schemas, tables, views, streams, and tasks
โ€ข Optimize Snowflake performance using clustering, warehouse sizing, query tuning
โ€ข Manage Snowflake objects including databases, schemas, roles, users, and warehouses
โ€ข Implement RBAC based security and access controls
ETL / Data Integration (Talend)
โ€ข Build and maintain Talend ETL pipelines for batch and near real time ingestion
โ€ข Perform data transformations, validations, and reconciliation
โ€ข Handle schema changes, error handling, and restartability in pipelines
โ€ข Support integration from multiple source systems (policy, claims, billing, finance)
Python & Automation
โ€ข Develop Python scripts for:
o Data ingestion and validation
