Rubb Building Systems is a Southern Maine building manufacturer located in Sanford, Maine. We are dedicated to delivering the highest-quality fabric structures, which is the benchmark for every step of our process. Our engineered fabric structures are strong, durable, flexible, relocatable, and easy to maintain. Requirements

ย Schedule:

  • Thursday, 10am - 4:30pm
  • Friday - Sunday, 4am -4:30pm
  • $1/hour shift differential will be applied to hours worked during the weekend schedule

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods standing and walking.
  • Frequent reaching and bending
  • Occasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, or crouch.ย 
  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, move and/or pull up to 75 poundsย 

Responsibilities

  • Ability to correctly identify material while maintaining records and traceability.ย 
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, machining instructions, and written and verbal instructions to execute work orders.ย 
  • Use solvents for cleaning and bonding plastic parts in a safe manner.ย 
  • Fits and assembles parts and attaches hardware and fittings using clamps, fixtures, power tools, and fasteners.
  • Performs typical machine shop operations to support the production and fabrication of our PVC sheets.ย 
  • Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.ย 
  • Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.ย ย 
  • Must be able to operate with minimal supervision once trained by following work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures.ย 
  • Wear proper safety equipment and always comply with company safety rules.ย 
  • Make a positive contribution to maintaining a workplace that is healthy, safe, neat and tidy.ย 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
  • Basic understanding of safety procedures and regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Ability to work both as an individual and in a team environment.
