Job Description: Your Piece of the Puzzle

 

NFM’s Warehouse Supervisor II will coordinate with staff to accomplish ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, displaying and shipping. This person will also be responsible for supplies, tools, equipment and parts in the warehouse and/or sales floor.

Job Duties: A Day in the Life

  • Monitor: Understand workload priorities and direct movement of all products to meet customer needs
  • Manage: Coach, train, hire and support staff.  Provide regular feedback and recognition. Hold staff accountable for fulfilling their key responsibilities and goals satisfactorily
  • Plan:  Develop agendas, conduct monthly staff meetings, control expenses/turnover and meet goals
  • Punctuality: Apply the attendance policy to scheduled training events just as it is applied to regular work schedules
  • Safety: Ensure machines/equipment are properly utilized and immediately correct inappropriate operating behaviors
  • Teamwork: Perform duties of supervised staff to assist in meeting deadlines and/or to fill in when short staffed

Qualifications: Can You Check These Boxes?

  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • 1 year supervisory or management experience
  • 2 years’ warehouse experience
  • Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record preferred
  • PC skills including Word, Excel, Power Point and Access preferred. 
  • Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs.
