Established in 1958, Advance Storage Products is the country's leading manufacturer of pushback systems, producing nearly half of all systems sold in the US.  Advance's LoPro Pushback racking solution is recognized as the "gold standard" for ease of installation, ease of operation, quality and durability. Our warehouse pallet racking solutions are used in major installations for many Fortune 500 companies.

The Project Coordinator will have primary responsibility for completing administrative tasks on projects and supporting the team of Project Managers. As a key resource to the Project Managers, this position will assist with ensuring project tasks are complete correctly and on-time and will collaborate with Project Managers, Sales, Sales Administration, Engineering, Accounting and the Operations teams as required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Track project status through the project phases of Engineering, Manufacturing, Shipping, Installing and Project Completion.
  • Ensure Project Tasks are assigned properly, and on track (in CSI).
  • Assist Project Managers with Buyout Purchase Orders
  • Follow up with Vendors on Purchase Orders, delivery schedules, and product deliveries to jobsites. Process Buyout PO receipts in CSI (with confirmation from installer/customer).
  • Process Freight PO receipts (in CSI), in coordination with the plant shipping supervisors and with confirmation from installer/customer.
  • Assist Project Managers in creating Customer Care (W) Orders and Change Orders as needed
  • Manage and process Parts-Only orders, and follow through from Order to Shipment
  • Assist the Project Management Program Manager on special projects and other administrative duties

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
High School diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
  • Three (3) years of experience in project coordination, customer service or related field. Experience with project management a plus.
  • Working knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the material handling industry preferred.
  • Demonstrated use of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), MS Teams.
