Job Summary:
The Storeroom Clerk is responsible for receiving, organizing, and distributing inventory and supplies to various resort departments. This role ensures accurate record-keeping, proper stock rotation, and adherence to safety and quality standards, supporting the resort's seamless daily operations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming deliveries for quantity, quality, and accuracy.
  • Organize and maintain storeroom inventory, ensuring items are properly labeled and stored.
  • Distribute supplies and products to departments in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Perform regular inventory counts and assist with inventory control procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of storeroom areas following safety guidelines.
  • Monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies to the Purchasing Manager.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of perishable and non-perishable items.
  • Assist with stock rotation to minimize waste and ensure product freshness.
  • Operate inventory management systems to track inventory movements and maintain records.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling and storing products.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in inventory or storeroom operations preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory management and record-keeping procedures.
  • Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment (certification is a plus).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
  • Familiarity with inventory software or systems.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
