Position Overview 

This is a skilled position requiring the employee to perform a variety of tasks pertaining to the purchasing department and other office support functions. 

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions) 

  • Will procure all types of materials required for company operations 

  • Will place bids and ensure competitive pricing on all materials 

  • Will make arrangements for deliveries to the requestor 

  • Will track and maintain the procurement process of all materials 

  • Other duties will be assigned as needed within the purchasing department. 

Qualifications 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. 

Education/Experience 

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.

Knowledge/Skill Preferences

  • Basic Viewpoint system knowledge.

  • Previous procurement experience.

  • Basic knowledge of truck terminology and equipment.
