Job description

Warehouse / Inventory Technician/ Forklift - 1st shift

$17.50 per hour

Temp to Hire

7:30 am - 4:30 pm - Monday through Friday

Job Responsibilities

Manage inventory levels in coordination with the Purchasing Manager.

Receive, review, and fulfill all customer pick lists.

Collaborate with Purchasing and Sales to ensure sufficient inventory is available to complete customer orders.

Deliver finished goods to appropriate departments as required.

Store inventory in proper location based on our inventory management system.

Confirming the maintenance of documentation, stock, counts, shipments and system accuracy of inventory.

Education and Experience

High school diploma or GED required.

Skills and Abilities

Detail-oriented, thorough, and self-motivated.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Effective organizational and logistic skills.

Ability to work with digital scales, scanners and / or handheld devices

Eye coordination alertness of labels and material, mental & physical agility.

Forklift experience.

Work Environment

This position operates primarily in a lab and warehouse setting and occasionally outdoors. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to normal warehouse environment mechanical parts only in package or light machinery contact. Minimum vibration or volume areas where standing, walking, packaging and offloading & loading will be required.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. The employee is regularly required to talk or hear and frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel objects, operate hand tools, twist and pull with hands and wrists, and reach with hands and arms. The employee may occasionally be required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment

Manufacturing facility that is not climate controlled.

Closed-toe shoes are required.

Blue jeans are required.

Safety glasses are required.
