Job Description:

The Senior Specialist, Supply Chain Management (Strategic Sourcer) will partner closely with crossfunctional supply chain organizations to identify, structure, and execute strategic supplier agreements. This role aligns internal program requirements with longterm enterprise business and financial objectives through Memorandums of Agreement (MOAs), pricing agreements, and other contracting frameworks. The candidate will support affordability initiatives, consolidate demand signals, and enable efficient and proactive procurement execution.

Essential Functions:

  • Assess internal business needs and objectives for strategic partnerships and alignment on commodity management strategies, including development of new technologies (e.g. IR&D).
  • Utilize strong business experience and acumen to develop a strategic approach with the supplier and structure MOA/Agreements that meet objectives and mitigate risks.
  • Aggregate program demands and forecasts to assist in long-term schedule and price agreements.
  • Provide forecasts to suppliers on periodic and recurring basis.
  • Solicit suppliers, review proposals, and develop agreement structures that to facilitate proactive creation/award of purchase orders.
  • Review and maintain Agreements and proactively renew to avoid gaps in ability to support future acquisitions.
  • Travel 25% to USG/Customer locations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant supply chain experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related supply chain experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related supply chain experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience drafting and negotiating contract agreements, including work within government contracting (i.e., FAR Part 15) and compliancedriven environments.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Active or obtainable security clearance would be preferred.
  • Master's degree or formal concentration in supply chain, operations management, or business preferred.
  • Experience leading crossfunctional teams without direct authority, using creative, nontraditional yet compliant problemsolving to navigate challenges and secure negotiated agreements.
  • Knowledge of cost/price analysis techniques, supplier cost structures and contracting best practices desired.
  • Experience in defense, aerospace, or highly regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with strong organizational, analytical, and execution skills.
  • Experience leading supplier negotiations, facilitating cross-functional meetings, and developing executive-level presentation business case analyses
  • Ability to design, develop, and present persuasive materials to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, including executives.
