Job description

Position Title: Purchasing Manager
Work Location: Maxwell AFB, AL
Job Type: Full-time, Contract

Summary
C² Technologies seeks a Purchasing Manager to work closely with and under the supervision of the Program Manager to ensure Air Force clients successfully acquire approved academic credentials and professional certifications in accordance with AF COOL (Air Force Credentialing Opportunity On Line Purchasing Agents) priorities and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as Task Lead for AF COOL purchasing activities, providing technical leadership and guidance to task staff
  • Identify, load, and verify professional certifications aligned to Air Force specialties
  • Manage and recommend approval of licensure and certification purchases, preparatory courses, and approved study materials to the Government oversight team
  • Oversee and manage the AF COOL credentialing budget, ensuring compliance with scope, funding limits, and timelines
  • Track task progress and provide regular reporting to the Program Manager
  • Ensure all purchasing activities are completed within scheduled timeframes consistent with AF COOL requirements
  • Organize, direct, and coordinate planning and execution of all AF COOL purchasing-related activities
Requirements
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree required
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience leading tasks and mentoring staff
  • Experience working with the Academic Institution Portal (AI Portal) and Air Force Automated Education Management System (AFAEMS), or a comparable education/personnel management system
Tools amp; Systems
  • AFAEMS or equivalent education records management systems
  • AI Portal or comparable academic credential platforms
Skills
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
