Team Hyundai of Bend is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead sales operations at our Bend, Oregon dealership. This key leadership role is responsible for driving sales performance, developing a strong sales team, and supporting an exceptional customer experience.


Position Overview:

The General Sales Manager will oversee the day-to-day performance of the sales department, including new and pre-owned vehicle sales, sales process execution, team coaching, CRM discipline, and collaboration with F&I. The ideal candidate is a hands-on automotive leader with a proven ability to grow sales, strengthen accountability, and create a positive, high-performing dealership culture.


What You’ll Do

  • Lead, coach, and develop sales managers and sales professionals to achieve department goals.
  • Drive new and pre-owned vehicle sales performance through clear goals, consistent follow-up, and strong process management.
  • Monitor sales activity, closing performance, lead response, forecasts, and key performance indicators.
  • Ensure effective CRM usage, timely lead follow-up, and consistent customer communication.
  • Partner closely with F&I to support profitability, compliance, and a smooth customer experience.
  • Help maintain strong inventory awareness and support strategies that align with dealership sales goals.
  • Reinforce company policies, dealership standards, and industry compliance expectations.
  • Build a positive, accountable, customer-focused, and results-driven sales culture.

Requirements:

What We’re Looking For

  • 3-5+ years of automotive sales management experience.
  • Proven success leading dealership sales teams and meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and organizational skills.
  • Experience using CRM systems and dealership software.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability.
  • Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Preferred Qualifications
