Job description

Overview

CORT Party Rental is hiring for an Inventory Specialist!

Our Inventory Specialist is responsible for managing and identifying quality control standards and processes, inspection and certification of completed work, organizing efficient work flow, and continuous relationship building with our internal and external customers.

Pay: 23-25 / hour depending on experience 

Schedule: Schedule is Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays depending on business needs. Hours are typically 40-60 hours per week with overtime and double time pay opportunities.


Responsibilities

  • Controls and maintains paperwork between Operations and Sales teams, follows up with customers when necessary.
  • Quality control of inventory levels and shortages through assisting in managing overbookings. Acts as the conduit between the operation and the sales team, adjusting inventory as needed.
  • Oversees and inspects counting and accuracy of product, certifying orders for customer delivery.
  • Ensures the protection of product using best demonstrated practices.
  • Coordinates with Operations teams, Sales team, and Purchasing Manager in regards to product in rental ready status, missing, damaged and in repair.
  • Participates in the transfer of inventory between CORT locations, ensuring all product is moved efficiently, accurately, and according to contracted dates. Communicating directly with various stakeholders to enhance the customer experience.
  • Maintains position of support for departments, particularly Dish and Linen.
  • Assists in the setting of, and training of presentation standards for equipment and customer expectations.
  • Helps to determine product levels and transport needs to secure equipment.
  • Assists in developing monthly QC reports.
  • Sends out Reservations and assists in closing contracts.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Prior inventory control experience.
  • Experience interacting with customers, sales, and operations preferred.
  • Computer profiency-experience with word, excel, outlook, Salesforce, and inventory control systems.
  • Ability to lift/move 50-100 lbs.
