Job description

Job Title: Procurement Coordinator Location: Bellevue, WA Type: Contract Compensation: $52.00 - $85.00 Work Model: Remote – offsite

Overview System One is seeking a strong Procurement Coordinator to support our client in a 12 month contract role.

Responsibilities

  • Support coordination and oversight of the EPC partner’s procurement activities for the Natrium advanced reactor project.
  • Assist in maintaining adherence to the project schedule by supporting award processes for procurement contractors.
  • Track procurement budgets from estimated award to final contract, supporting cost variance reporting.
  • Identify and monitor procurement oversight team’s cost mitigation efforts.
  • Manage procurement-related actions and open items across engineering, contracts, and legal groups to resolve roadblocks and support timely contract awards.
  • Support supply chain development for future projects.
  • Coordinate procurement and technical document reviews with stakeholders.
  • Monitor and respond to contract change requests in partnership with the Contract Administrator.
  • Track contractor schedule activities, report on adherence, and support schedule improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, project delivery, or procurement services for large projects, preferably in energy or power generation sectors.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Proven experience working with multidisciplinary and matrixed teams.
  • Strong knowledge of project scheduling, budgeting, EVMS tools, and project control requirements.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, and MS Project.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian tools such as Confluence and JIRA is a plus; Primavera P6 experience is advantageous.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong technical understanding of complex concepts with effective communication skills.
  • High integrity, openness, respect, and team-oriented mindset.
