Position SummaryThe Procurement & Inventory Coordinator is a hands‑on operations role responsible for the end‑to‑end flow of materials - from receiving and warehousing through procurement support, inventory accuracy, and job readiness. This role is critical to ensuring technicians, projects, and customers receive the right materials at the right time.
Success in this position requires strong warehouse execution skills combined with inventory coordination and procurement support. The coordinator works across multiple warehouse locations and technician fleets in a fast‑paced, job‑driven environment, serving as a key link between purchasing, operations, dispatch, and accounting
Duties and ResponsibilitiesQualificationsRequired: - High school diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience with shipping, receiving, warehousing, or material handling
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage inventory accurately
- Basic computer proficiency and comfort working within ERP or inventory systems
- Ability to work independently, follow standardized workflows, and manage shifting priorities
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift, carry, and handle materials in a warehouse environment
Preferred:
- Experience with ERP systems (ESC or similar)
- Prior responsibility for inventory control, procurement support, or vendor coordination
- Experience tracking purchase orders, receipts, and discrepancies
- Proficiency with spreadsheets or inventory reporting tools
