Job description

Description:

Trindco Premium Countertops is hiring an Inventory & Material Lead to own the flow of material through our slab yard and warehouse. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing slab and sink inventory, receiving, staging, and the team that handles the physical work.

What you'll do

  • Receive incoming slabs in Moraware (our production system), including photographing each slab and entering it into inventory
  • Operate the D2 Iris Scanner to digitize slabs for our Programming team's layout work
  • Own slab inventory accuracy — barcode scanning, cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies, remnant tracking
  • Receive incoming sinks, verify counts against purchase orders, and receive in Moraware
  • Maintain organization of the slab yard and sink storage
  • Stage slabs for the next day's saw schedule and sinks for next-day installations
  • Coordinate truck unloading for slab and sink deliveries
  • Supervise and direct two material handlers
  • Coordinate daily with our Programming, Purchasing, and Shop teams

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Hourly.

Benefits

  • Paid time off and 6 paid holidays per year
  • Company-paid life insurance (1× salary) and long-term disability
  • Employee-elective coverage available: Health, Dental, Vision, HSA, FSA, Short-Term Disability, Accident, and Critical Illness
  • 401(k) plan
Requirements:
  • Strong on inventory systems and PC-based work
  • Detail-oriented — slab and sink inventory accuracy drives everything downstream
  • Comfortable leading a small team and directing day-to-day work
  • Process-minded — able to take a workflow and bring structure to it
  • Comfortable in a warehouse environment with material handling equipment around you
  • Forklift experience required, but operating the forklift is not the primary part of this job
  • Prior experience in inventory management, warehouse supervision, receiving, or material flow coordination
  • Experience with inventory or ERP systems is required; experience with Moraware is a plus, not a requirement
  • High school diploma or equivalent
