Position Summary

The Inventory Specialist is responsible for supporting daily production and warehouse operations by ensuring materials are accurately received, organized, tracked, and delivered to the appropriate work areas. This position requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and check in incoming materials and verify quantities against purchase orders and packing slips.
  • Accurately enter data into SAP and other inventory management systems.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy by performing routine cycle counts and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Organize and store materials in designated locations to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Pick and stage parts for production jobs and place materials in the appropriate job locations.
  • Load and unload job carts with the correct materials and components.
  • Deliver materials to production areas in a timely manner to support manufacturing schedules.
  • Track and locate missing or misplaced parts throughout the facility.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and update material movements in SAP.
  • Assist with general warehouse and production support duties as assigned.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all company safety procedures.
