Job description

Insight FS is headquartered in Jefferson, Wisconsin with 23 branches across the state and upper peninsula of Michigan. Insight FS has 430+ employees (including seasonal workers) and approximately 50,000 customers. The cooperative does business in agronomy, agri-finance, precision agriculture, nutrient management, energy, feed, grain, and turf. Insight FS is part of the GROWMARK System, an agricultural cooperative serving more than 100,000 customers across North America and Ontario, Canada.

PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT 

Duties include general clerical, receptionist and project based work. Projects a professional company image through in-person and phone interaction. Answers telephones and transfers to appropriate staff member. 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS 

Meet and greet clients and visitors.  

Create and modify documents using Microsoft Office.  

Perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to: photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing.  

Maintain hard copy and electronic filing system.  

Sign for and distribute UPS/Fed Ex/Airborne packages.

Schedules or coordinates meetings, interviews, events and other similar activities. 

Support staff in assigned project based work in a team-oriented environment or independently.  

Utilizes organization, time-management and problem solving skills to perform work efficiently and effectively. 

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS 

May be required to research, price, and purchase office supplies.  

May be required to maintain customer information. 

May order uniforms and invoice employees. 

Occasionally may be asked to drive and run local errands as requested. 

May be required to cross-train and substitute for other administrative positions. 

May be required to pick up/drop off local products or materials by request. 

Follows GROWMARK's Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply. 

Performs all other duties as assigned. 

REQUIREMENTS 

Normally requires a high school diploma, or the equivalent thereof, and 1 - 3 years or more of clerical related work experience to demonstrate knowledge of professional communication skills, typing proficiency and Microsoft Office programs. 

Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.  

Demonstrated essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development. 

Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK's policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
