William Ryan Homes Tampa is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Assistant to support our Purchasing team in maintaining accurate product, pricing, vendor, and purchase order information. This role helps keep purchasing processes organized and moving by coordinating information between internal departments, vendors, and construction teams while maintaining accurate data in company systems.


What You'll Do

  • Prepare, review, and maintain lot-specific purchase orders and purchasing information.
  • Enter and update vendor pricing, product options, sales pricing, and cost data in company systems.
  • Coordinate with Purchasing, Construction, Sales, Accounting, and vendors to keep information accurate and current.
  • Maintain purchasing documents, specifications, pricing worksheets, and related records.
  • Assist with bid administration, vendor documentation, and contract processing.
  • Research and help resolve purchasing, cost, vendor, and invoice discrepancies.
  • Generate and review reports related to purchasing, job costs, cycle times, and purchasing performance.
  • Support onboarding and administrative processes for vendors and internal teams as needed.
  • Help ensure purchasing data, budgets, and system information are complete and accurate.
