Purchasing Assistant

Department –Production/Warehouse

Job Summary

The Purchasing Assistant will be responsible for providing daily transactional support to the Purchasing Manager, ensuring efficient order management, documentation, and supplier communication. This role is key to maintaining accurate purchasing records and logistics coordination.


Key Job Responsibilities and Duties

Order and Data Management:

  • Ensure Purchase Orders and monthly pricing updates.
  • Update calendars, delivery schedules, and the IQMS system.


Supplier Communication and Follow-up:

  • Follow up on all outstanding shipments, delivery statuses, acknowledgments, and confirmations.
  • Gather initial pricing, minimum order quantity (MOQ), and lead-time information from suppliers.


Documentation and Compliance:

  • Request essential documentation, including Certificates of Analysis (COAs), Safety Data Sheets (SDS/MSDS), and other required paperwork.
