Warehouse Associate

9am - 5:30pm. OT as needed

Sunday thru Friday

Days off - Saturday and 1 Random day during the week

Pay: $25.10 an hour

Location: 30852 San Antonio St, Hayward, CA 94544, USA

The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for:

  • Loading and unloading delivery trucks to ensure timely and accurate product distribution
  • Receiving, verifying, and strategically storing incoming products to maintain inventory accuracy and optimize space
  • Utilizing handheld scanners for load verifications and quality control
  • Collaborating with other departments to support operational efficiency
  • Working in cold conditions
  • Adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean, organized work environment

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED

  • Basic computer skills and willingness to learn warehouse equipment operation
  • Ability to work with various products, including yeast and flour
  • Must pass pre-employment background check

This position demands exceptional physical capabilities, including but not limited to:

  • The ability to maintain a standing or walking position for extended periods without compromise.
  • Proficiency in navigating staircases safely and efficiently.
  • The capacity to consistently lift and maneuver loads of up to 30 lbs., with occasional requirements to manage weights of up to 50 lbs.
  • Demonstrated strength to perform heavy pushing and pulling of products without risk of injury.
  • Resilience to work effectively in refrigerated environments, specifically within the temperature range of 33-38 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • The fortitude to operate in an environment characterized by exposure to loud machinery, when operational needs dictate.
