Job Responsibilities:
  • Sourcing & Procurements
    • Generate purchase orders, follow up with PO's, confirm status and ensure delivery on a daily basis
    • Source and develop new vendors, craft negotiation strategies and terms on price, payment term, and lead time, and close deals with optimal terms

  • Business Development & Vendor Relationship:
    • Develop and establish long-term relationships with Korean Beauty & Home suppliers and brands
  • Expand Yami's Japanese or Korean Beauty & Homeproduct selections, extend Yami's product leadership

Supply Chain Optimizations:
  • Identify growth opportunities and weakness in current Korean supply chain
  • Optimize Korean product cost of goods sold of Beauty and Home Category
  • Drive improvement in inventory availability, inventory balance, and increasing inventory efficiency
  • Generate purchase orders and be responsible for inventory health

Qualifications (Required):
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or a related field or equivalent work experience
  • 2+years of experience in purchasing and vendor management for consumer products.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in bilingual language English and Korean
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong supply chain analytic skills. Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data

Qualifications (Preferred):
  • MBA or Master's Degree in Operations, Supply Chain or Logistics
  • Ability to solve problems and come up with innovative solutions
