Job description

About the Role:

We are currently hiring a Purchasing Agent for Indirect Spend to join our team based in Provo, Utah, working in a hybrid working setting (Monday-Thursday in the office, Friday remote). The Purchasing Agent will report directly to the Purchasing Director and will support the full cycle procurement process and the procurement and expense platforms. This position will have visibility to stakeholders and enhance the value of data via analysis to provide opportunities for spend consolidation and reduction through the Coupa platform. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in procurement administration, process improvement, and system management. This role involves maintaining cross-functional relationships, supporting full cycle day-to-day purchasing and expense activities, executing continuous improvement initiatives, creating system reports, and providing training to global users for both system and process acceptance. This position has strong technology dependencies with a procurement focus.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Procurement Process:

  • Support day-to-day procurement systems and processes, specifically management of procurement systems-Coupa and Concur.
  • Serve as a resource for internal stakeholders (e.g., Nu Skin or its affiliates) and external stakeholders (e.g., suppliers) with questions or issues pertaining to the systems or process.
  • Facilitate the contract process with reviews and approval of contracts, purchase orders, supplier onboard/updates, expenses etc. that are submitted, and provide support with any issues that arise.
  • Champion the contract process for all the Americas.
  • Oversee the end-to-end supplier onboarding process.
  • Resolve problems with vendors to improve vendor relationships and promote cooperation.
  • Update Coupa's configuration on an as-needed basis.
  • Update Concur's configuration on an as-needed basis.
  • Keep accurate records of updates and changes made to document for audits. Manage upgrade testing with each new Coupa and Concur release.
  • Collaborate with IT to validate interfaces, review error logs, and fix issues.
  • Track and manage issues in Coupa and Concur through tickets created with respective application support portals.
  • Administer local corporate credit card and virtual credit card program.
  • Create and maintain documentation around procurement policies and procedures.
  • Train employees and partners on Coupa and Concur use.
  • Assist business in developing ad-hoc reports or queries in both Coupa and Concur.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, supply chain, purchasing/procurement or in a related field.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, ChatGPT, and SaaS applications
  • Proven experience in procurement administration, with ability to collaborate across functional areas and work on cross-functional teams to provide standardized or customized solutions to business requirements.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
  • Takes initiative and approaches issues with an analytical mindset. Detail oriented with solid organizational skills and ability to effectively manage multiple priorities or reprioritization of projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment and is accustomed to strict deadline deliverables. Works well under pressure.

Bonus Points For:

  • Familiarity with cloud-based software and ERP integrations-SAP, Coupa and Concur.
  • Working knowledge of Coupa and Concur with implementation/roll-out experience
  • Previous experience in providing training and support to users.
  • Spanish language fluency.
