Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator to support our purchasing team by coordinating vendor communication, tracking bids and purchase orders, and maintaining accurate system data. This role plays a critical part in ensuring our purchasing process runs efficiently and projects stay on schedule.
Responsibilities
• Follow up with subcontractors on outstanding bid submissions
• Track and maintain bid logs and vendor participation
• Communicate with vendors to clarify scope, pricing, and documentation
• Assist in gathering comparable supplier pricing
• Monitor and update purchase order approvals and revisions
• Maintain accurate records of all PO activity
• Add subcontractors to project schedules upon approval
• Coordinate with internal teams (Purchasing, Selections, AP) for updates and clarifications
• Ensure vendor contact information and documentation are up to date
• Support pricing documentation and cost tracking efforts
Qualifications
• While prior experience in purchasing, construction, or administrative support is preferred, it is not required.
