Job description

Park Hyatt Washington is seeking an energetic and organized Purchasing Clerk to join our award-winning Finance and Purchasing team. Join us for this opportunity to be part of an elite luxury service team and discover why Hyatt has continually earned the Great Places to Work designation.
Key Responsibilities
The Purchasing Clerk is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant receipt and distribution of all goods and materials delivered to the hotel. Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Receives all incoming deliveries of products and goods
• Distributes all received shipments and goods to appropriate locations throughout the hotel
• Ensure proper transfer and handover of goods to the relevant departments
• Submits and tracks purchase orders
• Inspects all goods delivered against approved purchase orders (POs), supplier invoices, and delivery notes
• Conduct quantity and quality checks and reports any discrepancies, shortages, or damages
• Coordinate with Purchasing Director, Finance, suppliers, and operations departments to ensure timely processing of goods through the entirety of the PO life cycle
• Scan, route, and process invoices through the workflow to ensure timely processing
• Ship in-house and guest packages
• Other administrative tasks as needed
Starting Salary
Starting hourly rate of $25.00, depending on experience
