Job description

Coilcraft is a successful company that has a worldwide reputation for high quality passive electronic components. Coilcraft operates in a wide range of industries, including telecommunications, computers, automotive, broadband communications and consumer electronics. We are seeking highly qualified to join our team as a Warehous/Purchasing Clerk.
RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
  • Prepare packages for domestic & international shipping
  • Receive, move and deliver incoming materials; including hazardous materials
  • Operates computer & various programs
  • Assists with inventory control
  • Obtain vendor quotes
  • Create and complete machine orders
  • Create purchase orders for company goods, parts & machines and forward approved PO's to vendors
  • Follow up on and/or expedite purchase orders
  • Set-up, entry and maintenance of parts in the purchasing/inventory control system
  • Enter part number and document control system
  • Operate fork lift & hand truck
  • Delivery of packages between Coilcraft facilities and/or Vendors

REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License required
  • Blueprint reading a plus
  • Prior shipping/receiving experience preferred
  • Average math skills
  • Must be PC literate; working knowledge of Microsoft Office; Outlook, Word & Excel and working knowledge of Info XA Power-link preferred
  • Attention to detail a must.
  • Must be able to lift incoming and outgoing shipments.
