Job Summary
The Mobile Equipment Inventory Clerk is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory records of mobile equipment, parts, and supplies. This role involves coordinating with vendors for procurement, conducting regular inventory counts, and ensuring efficient storage and handling of materials. The clerk will also be responsible for resolving discrepancies and maintaining detailed procurement records, while adhering to all safety and environmental policies.
What You'll Do:
Vendor Relations. Confers with vendors to obtain product or service information, such as price, availability, and delivery schedule. Discuss defective or unacceptable goods or services with inspection or quality control personnel, users, vendors, and others to determine the source of the issue and take corrective action.
Manage Inventory. Conducts weekly cycle counts of inventory materials based upon computer-monitored suggested reorder listing; assists in conducting a complete physical inventory count quarterly, or on an as-needed basis. Organizes and maintains warehouse and inventory yard areas for efficient material storage and handling; maintains labeling system on each stock item; manually stocks inventory shelving with stock items received or returned and or for warranty purposes. Have the ability to control and manage inventory utilizing the company's bar-coding system.
Select Testing Material. Selects products for purchase by testing, observing, or examining items. Estimate values based on market knowledge.
Manage Systems. Maintains manual or computerized procurement records, such as items or services purchased, cost, delivery, product quality or performance, and inventories. Create requisitions within the company's internal system. Have the ability to control and manage inventory utilizing the company's bar-coding system.
Comply with Regulations. Complies with all environmental, health, safety & training policies, procedures, and requirements.
Operate Heavy Equipment. Ability to operate a forklift, vehicle, and other equipment pertaining to this position. Must be able to obtain Forklift Certification within four months after the date of hire.
Additional Responsibilities. Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities
Education
• High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience
• 1 - 3 years experience or related work history.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Knowledge of common office practices, procedures, and the use of office equipment is required.
• Must possess basic math skills focusing on accuracy and be able to use a ten-key calculator by touch.
• Appropriate typing skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel are required.
• Must have good organizational skills, ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Must have good communication skills and be familiar with the proper phone, and email etiquette.
• Must act with unyielding integrity and honesty in business transactions, promote company policies, and hold self and other employees accountable.
Other Requirements
• Complies with all environmental, health, safety & training policies, procedures and requirements.
• Ability to operate a forklift, vehicle, and other equipment pertaining to this position.
• Must be able to obtain Forklift Certification within four months after the date of hire.
• Employees must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds either more or less.
• Exposure to dusty conditions, high noise levels, high-temperature equipment, and adverse weather conditions.
• Must wear PPE: hard hat, safety glasses, hard toe footwear, gloves, safety belt and line, seatbelt, life jacket hearing protection, and respiratory protection as required.
