Punch Laser Operator Jobs (NOW HIRING)

This role focuses on operating mechanical stamping punch presses and related fabrication equipment to produce high-quality metal components. You will interpret shop orders and blueprints, perform precise measurements, and ensure all parts meet specifications while following established quality and safety standards in a climate-controlled, laid-back manufacturing environment.

• Operate manual, part-in/part-out mechanical stamping punch presses to produce metal components according to production requirements.
• Review and interpret shop orders, work instructions, blueprints, and inspection records to ensure accurate setup and production of quality parts.
• Examine and measure products to verify conformance to specifications using measurement equipment as specified on inspection records.
• Adjust machine settings and processes as needed to maintain consistent product quality and minimize defects.
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate production and quality records in accordance with company procedures.
• Comply with all policies, processes, and systems of the ISO quality management system to support continuous improvement and quality assurance.
• Follow all safety procedures and support the commitment to a safe work environment as outlined in the safety vision and safety manual.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve production issues and ensure smooth workflow.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including basic machine care and housekeeping tasks.

• At least 1 year of experience operating machines in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience operating machines in a metal manufacturing environment.
• Ability to operate mechanical stamping punch presses and related fabrication equipment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, shop orders, and work instructions.
• Ability to use measurement equipment as specified on inspection records to verify product conformance.
• Familiarity with punch press and press brake operations.
• Understanding of fabrication processes in a metal manufacturing setting.
• Ability to follow and comply with ISO quality management system policies, processes, and systems.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and contribute to a safe work environment.

• Experience working in an ISO-certified manufacturing environment.
• Comfort working with various measurement tools and inspection documentation.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with production and quality teams.
• Ability to adapt to changing production priorities and instructions.
• Interest in ongoing professional development and skills enhancement.

This position is based in a climate-controlled metal manufacturing facility with a laid-back and collaborative atmosphere. The role involves operating mechanical stamping punch presses and related fabrication equipment during scheduled hours that include a shift with a premium differential. You will work with blueprints, shop orders, and inspection records, using measurement equipment to verify product quality. This is a Permanent position based out of Oconomowoc, WI.

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $68000.00/yr.
