Location: Short Pump, VA
Setting: Educational Daycare
Schedule: 8:00 AM 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM 5:00 PM (break during childs nap)
Hours: 33 hours per week (remaining hours available for home-based therapy)
About the Role:
Were looking for an energetic and passionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team and provide one-on-one ABA therapy to a young learner in the Short Pump area. The ideal candidate is high-energy, playful, fun, and very talkative, with a genuine love for helping children learn and grow through engaging, interactive sessions.
Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs under the supervision of a BCBA.
  • Use positive reinforcement strategies to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
  • Collect accurate session data and maintain clear documentation.
  • Support skill generalization across play, routines, and structured learning.
  • Collaborate with the supervising BCBA and family to ensure consistent, quality care.
Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (required).
  • At least 1 year of experience working in the ABA field.
  • Minimum of one professional reference from an ABA supervisor or employer.
  • Reliable, punctual, and passionate about making sessions fun and effective.
  • Strong communication skills and a naturally upbeat, talkative personality.
