Residential / Light Commercial HVAC Installer  - Full Time

Location: Fox Valley Area, WI
Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay: Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications

About the Position

We are looking for a dependable, skilled HVAC Installer / Installation Technician to join our team serving customers throughout the Fox Valley area. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, enjoys hands-on mechanical work, and wants to build a long-term career in the HVAC trade.

The HVAC Installer will be responsible for installing residential and/or light commercial heating and cooling systems while maintaining high standards for safety, workmanship, cleanliness, and customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Install new furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, ventilation equipment, thermostats, and related HVAC equipment.
  • Install and modify ductwork, sheet metal, refrigerant lines, drain lines, and other system components.
  • Complete equipment start-ups and verify proper system operation.
  • Read and interpret equipment specifications, installation instructions, blueprints, and basic wiring diagrams.
  • Perform basic electrical, mechanical, and HVAC troubleshooting as needed during installation.
  • Ensure installations meet manufacturer specifications, applicable codes, and company quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area before, during, and after each installation.
  • Safely operate hand and power tools and company equipment.
  • Communicate professionally with customers and explain basic system operation when required.
  • Work effectively with installation helpers, service technicians, project managers, and other team members.
  • Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in good working condition.
  • Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
  • Complete required job documentation accurately and on time.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Previous HVAC installation experience preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to use common hand and power tools.
  • Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
  • Ability to work safely in attics, crawl spaces, basements, mechanical rooms, and outdoors.
  • Ability to lift and carry HVAC equipment and materials.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Professional attitude and good communication skills.

Preferred:

  • EPA 608 certification.
  • 1+ years of residential or commercial HVAC installation experience.
  • Experience with furnaces, central air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, or mini-splits.
  • Sheet metal and ductwork experience.
  • Basic electrical and refrigeration knowledge.
  • HVAC trade school or apprenticeship experience.

Physical Requirements

This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, reaching, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling. Employees may work in confined spaces, attics, crawl spaces, basements, on ladders, and in varying weather conditions.

Candidates must be able to safely lift and handle HVAC equipment and materials with appropriate assistance when necessary.

Our work is primarily throughout the Fox Valley/Fox Cities area, including Appleton, Neenah, Menasha, Kimberly, Little Chute, Kaukauna, Grand Chute, Greenville, Hortonville, and surrounding communities.
