The Role in Brief:
Paid Media Manager, Hybrid
Hybrid is seeking an experienced, strategic, and results-driven Paid Media Manager to join our growing Digital team. This role is ideal for a paid media professional who enjoys balancing hands-on campaign execution with leadership, mentoring, and strategic planning.
As a Paid Media Manager, you will oversee high-performing paid media campaigns across Search, Social, and Programmatic channels while partnering with Account Directors, Digital leadership, and clients to develop innovative marketing strategies that drive enrollment and brand growth for higher education institutions worldwide.
In addition to managing complex digital campaigns, you'll play a key role in developing team capabilities, improving operational processes, and helping shape the continued growth of Hybrid's Paid Media function. This is an outstanding opportunity for someone looking to expand their leadership experience while remaining deeply involved in digital strategy and campaign performance.
This hire will be based in our Philadelphia, PA office.
Primary Responsibilities:
The Paid Media Manager is responsible for leading the planning, execution, optimization, and strategic direction of paid media campaigns while supporting the growth and development of Hybrid's Digital team.
Campaign Strategy & Execution
  • Lead the planning, launch, optimization, and reporting of paid media campaigns across Search, Social, and Programmatic channels.

  • Develop sophisticated campaign strategies, audience targeting, bidding approaches, and measurement frameworks.

  • Oversee campaign pacing, budget allocation, and performance to ensure client goals are achieved.

  • Manage complex campaign builds while maintaining exceptional quality and attention to detail.

Client Strategy & Performance
  • Serve as a trusted digital marketing advisor to clients by translating campaign performance into strategic recommendations.

  • Present campaign insights, reporting, and optimization strategies during client meetings.

  • Develop detailed performance analyses, competitor research, and actionable recommendations.

  • Partner with Account Directors to support integrated media planning and long-term client success.

Team Leadership & Development
  • Mentor, coach, and support Paid Media Executives and junior team members.

  • Share best practices, technical expertise, and platform knowledge across the Digital team.

  • Identify opportunities to improve team workflows, campaign processes, and operational efficiency.

  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment focused on continuous learning and innovation.

Digital Innovation & Operational Excellence
  • Stay current on emerging advertising platforms, industry trends, and evolving best practices.

  • Leverage Google, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Reddit, YouTube, Snapchat, and other advertising platforms to deliver innovative client solutions.

  • Manage multiple client campaigns and competing priorities while ensuring timely execution.

  • Support the continued growth and evolution of Hybrid's Paid Media capabilities.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.

  • 4-6+ years of experience managing paid digital media campaigns in an agency or similar client-facing environment.

  • Demonstrated experience managing campaigns across Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and other major paid media platforms.

  • Strong knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, campaign tracking, and performance reporting.

  • Experience presenting campaign strategy and results to clients and senior stakeholders.

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal Qualifications:
  • Experience leading or mentoring digital marketing team members.

  • Experience managing six-figure digital advertising budgets across multiple client accounts.

  • Deep understanding of paid Search, Paid Social, Programmatic, audience targeting, and attribution.
