JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES


Market Prospection and Customer Engagement:

  • Collaborate with our sales team to identify and prospect new applications for our market pulp products.
  • Engage in technical discussions with customers, offering expertise in refining optimization and process auditing to enhance machine runnability, reduce production costs, and minimize energy consumption.


Innovation and Sustainable Solutions:

  • Explore innovative business models and co-investment opportunities with customers to promote sustainable fiber usage.
  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for growth.


Customer Support and Issue Resolution:

  • Ensure efficient and timely responses to customer complaints and concerns, fostering strong customer relationships.


Technical Data Exchange and Field Support:

  • Facilitate remote technical data exchange between customers and our pulp production sites to address technical inquiries and provide necessary support.
  • Offer on-site field support during product qualification and development trials at customer facilities.


Competitive Analysis and Industry Engagement:

  • Analyze competitive landscapes and emerging technologies to provide strategic insights for decision-making.
  • Participate in industry events and conferences to build networks and represent Suzano in the North American market.


WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Paper Science, Chemical Engineering, Pulp & Paper Technology).
  • Proven results in the pulp and paper industry with a minimum of 8-10 years of experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong technical knowledge in papermaking processes, refining optimization, and machine runnability. Expertise in specialty and packaging grades will be an advantage but is not required.
  • Exceptional communication and customer engagement skills.
  • Ability to stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Willingness to travel up to 65% of the time and participate in industry events and conferences.
  • Relocation to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA is required for this position.
