Job Description

Global Environmental and Industrial Responseis a fast-paced company located in Mulberry,now hiring for the position of Accounts Payable Specialist. Applicantsmusthave work experience in Accounts Payable.


Position Overview

Global Environmental and Industrial Response is seeking a seasonedAccounts Payable (AP) Specialistwith a proven track record in financial operations. This is a high-volume role that requiressignificant prior experiencein managing complex vendor accounts and high-transaction cycles. You will ensure that all vendor financial obligations are met accurately and on time, while maintaining strict adherence to corporate procedures.


Essential Functions:

  • Enter received vendor invoices accurately and timely, ensuring all necessary documentation and approvals are obtained in accordance with Department and Corporate procedures.
  • Ensure timely payment of outstanding vendor invoices.
  • Perform research and reconciliation of vendor statements.
  • Initiate contact with internal and external parties, as needed, for supporting documents or missing information.
  • Meet accounting deadlines for month-end process and closing cycles.
  • Perform other related duties or special projects, as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years Accounts Payable experience
  • Mustbe used to high transaction and fast paced environment.
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks recommended.
  • Demonstrate intermediate to advanced skills and knowledge of Excel, as well as other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across the organization.
  • Highly detail-oriented
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
