Overview
TRC is hiring a Construction Inspector II for Long Island, NY.
To meet growing project demands, TRC is currently seeking qualified Construction Inspectors (CIs) to join our Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) Practice in Aberdeen, NC, and at other project locations across NY.
Responsibilities
.Must have bridge and highway construction experience, with NYSDOT.
  • NICET Level II or equivalent is required.
  • Familiarity with NYSDOT MURK Documentation and using Site Manager.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Night Shift, over-time and potential weekend work availability.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
  • 18 months or more of transportation construction inspection experience
  • Experience working on NCDOT highway or bridge projects preferred

Required Certifications / Qualifications (or willingness to obtain):
  • ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician - Grade I
  • ACI Aggregate Testing Technician - Level I or NCDOT Aggregate Level I

Inspectors must be familiar with NCDOT Construction Manual, Standard Specifications, and testing procedures, and be able to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications.

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.
Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
