TMRW Sports is seeking a creative Sr. Manager, Social Media - Golf to support the growth and engagement of TGL and WTGL across key social platforms. Reporting to the Vice President, Marketing - Golf, this role will be responsible for the day-to-day planning, ideation, publishing, and optimization of social-first content, helping bring league, team, player, and fan stories to life through engaging, platform-native storytelling built for how fans consume sports today.


This is a highly collaborative, hands-on position that will work closely with internal and external teams and partners to capture content, identify emerging opportunities, and execute social programming that drives awareness, fandom and audience growth. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable brainstorming creative concepts, shooting content on-site, managing social channels, and publishing real-time content.


As part of a broader social team, this individual will own and manage select social platforms while partnering closely with teammates responsible for other channels to ensure a cohesive and unified fan experience across TGL and WTGL.


 Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day content planning, publishing, and community engagement for assigned TGL and WTGL social media platforms
  • Capture, create, edit, and publish social-first content across matches, league events, team activations, player appearances, tentpole moments, and non-match storytelling opportunities
  • Lead and contribute to content ideation sessions, developing creative concepts that drive fan engagement and cultural relevance
  • Partner with Creative, Branded Content, Digital, Marketing, Broadcast, and Team stakeholders to execute integrated social campaigns and storytelling initiatives
  • Identify real-time content opportunities, trends, and conversations that can elevate league visibility and engagement
  • Develop and maintain content calendars for assigned platforms, ensuring timely and consistent publishing
  • Execute live-event social coverage, including content capture, posting, and fan engagement during matches and league events
  • Collaborate with players, teams, talent, and partners to develop compelling platform-native content
  • Monitor social performance and audience insights, providing recommendations to improve engagement, reach, and content effectiveness
  • Support sponsor, team and partner activations across social channels while maintaining a fan-first approach
  • Stay current on emerging platform trends, content formats, tools, and best practices across the social media landscape
  • Support community management and audience engagement across owned channels, fan conversations, creator, team and partner touchpoints, and broader social communities where TGL and WTGL fans are active

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Digital Media, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • 7+ years of experience in social media, digital content, sports media, or content marketing
  • Proven experience creating, capturing, publishing, and optimizing social content across major social platforms
  • Strong understanding of platform-specific best practices across Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, Facebook, and emerging channels
  • Experience covering live events and executing real-time social content strategies.
  • Strong copywriting, storytelling, and content ideation skills
  • Experience working with athletes, talent, creators, teams, or sports properties
  • Strong photo, video capture, and mobile content creation capabilities
  • Familiarity with social publishing, analytics, and content management tools
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills
  • Passion for sports and fan engagement, with strong knowledge of golf 

Preferred:

  • Experience working for a professional sports league, team, media company, agency, or sports-focused brand
  • Experience editing short-form content for social platforms
  • Knowledge of social media analytics, reporting, and audience development strategies
  • Experience collaborating with athletes, influencers, creators, and brand partners
  • Understanding of paid social amplification and content distribution strategies
  • Passion for golf and an understanding of the golf media and fan landscape
  • Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment
