Who You Are:PURPLE is seeking an ambitious Vice President to join our Lifestyle team. As Vice President, you will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of luxury lifestyle clients, leading strategic direction, cultivating media and influencer relationships, mentoring high-performing teams, and driving business growth.
This is a key leadership role within the agency - one that demands a well-connected media strategist with exceptional client management experience, team-building skills, and a deep understanding of the luxury lifestyle sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of developing high-impact campaigns and delivering results that align with brand and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Client Leadership
  • Serve as the senior strategic lead for key lifestyle accounts, ensuring campaigns are forward-thinking, integrated, and aligned with client goals.
  • Develop and implement long-term communications strategies that drive awareness, cultural relevance, and commercial value.
  • Provide trusted counsel to clients, serving as their strategic partner across brand communications, campaign development, and reputation management.
  • Oversee campaign planning, creative direction, press strategy, event programming, partnership activations, and brand storytelling.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to identify opportunities for innovation and growth within the Lifestyle team.

Team Management & Mentorship
  • Manage the Lifestyle team, fostering an environment of creativity, accountability, and excellence.
  • Assign and oversee roles and responsibilities across accounts; ensure teams are structured for both efficiency and development.
  • Lead by example, supporting staff development through consistent feedback, mentorship, and performance management.

Media, Influencer & Industry Relations
  • Maintain strong, senior-level media relationships across lifestyle, culture, and consumer publications.
  • Lead influencer strategy and partnerships, ensuring campaigns are socially led where relevant and engage the right cultural voices.
  • Actively engage with the wider cultural and lifestyle landscape to stay ahead of trends, opportunities, and shifts in consumer behaviour.

Operational & Financial Leadership
  • Ensure efficient management of budgets, contracts, reporting, and billing across accounts.
  • Report to the Senior Vice President and Executive Leadership Team on business forecasting, staffing, and financial planning.
  • Lead on new business pitches and organic growth opportunities within your portfolio.

Culture & Collaboration
  • Partner with colleagues across divisions and international offices to create integrated, multi-market strategies.
  • Champion Purple's culture and values internally and externally - fostering an inclusive, curious, and driven environment.

Skills and Experience
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in public relations, with a focus on luxury lifestyle clients
  • Strong agency background with proven ability to lead accounts and deliver strategic excellence

  • Proven track record of developing and executing high-profile PR campaigns, events, and partnerships
