Senior Account Executive - Public Relations (High-Ticket B2B Sales)
About Otter PR
Otter Public Relations is the #1 ranked PR firm on Clutch and G2 and a 2x Inc. 5000 award winner for America's fastest-growing companies. We've been named to the Gator100 (2x), the Tampa Bay Business Journal Fast 50, and featured in Forbes, Entrepreneur, USA Today, and Business Insider.
We deliver high-impact earned media and real ROI - and we run a performance culture built for top-tier talent who want to grow fast and win big.
About the Role
We're hiring an elite Account Executive to close high-ticket PR contracts ranging from $50K-$200K+ annually. You'll work exclusively warm, qualified leads - 300+ delivered monthly by our marketing engine and internal SDR team. No cold prospecting. No internal politics. Just closing.
This is a career-defining seat for a proven closer who wants to earn $250K-$400K+ selling consultative PR solutions to C-suite executives, venture-backed founders, and industry leaders.
What You'll Do
  • Close high-ticket PR contracts ($4K-$20K+ monthly retainers)
  • Run discovery calls, demos, and closing conversations with qualified prospects
  • Build relationships with C-level executives, founders, and marketing leaders
  • Master our proven sales framework and consistently exceed monthly quota
  • Manage deals from first call to signed contract with clean CRM discipline
  • Hand off closed clients seamlessly to our world-class PR delivery teams
Non-Negotiable Requirements
  • 5+ years B2B sales experience with consistent quota achievement
  • Proven track record closing $100K+ deals (annual contract value)
  • 2+ years in consultative/solution selling (marketing services, SaaS, or professional services preferred)
  • Demonstrated success at $200K+ OTE roles with documented quota overachievement
  • C-suite relationship building experience and executive presence
  • CRM mastery (Salesforce, HubSpot, or GoHighLevel) with clean pipeline management
What Makes You Elite
  • Consultative selling - you diagnose before you prescribe
  • Advanced objection handling and closing technique
  • Coachable, competitive, and resilient under pressure
  • Executive-level communication and presentation skills
Bonus Points
  • Agency or professional services sales background
  • PR, marketing, or communications industry experience
  • Series A-C startup or enterprise sales background
  • Track record of 120%+ quota achievement
Compensation
  • Total OTE: $150K-$400K+ uncapped
  • Base draw: Higher draw in month 1, tapering over 3 months as commissions ramp
  • Commission: 5%-25% uncapped, tiered by service line and deal terms
  • Bonuses: Monthly and quarterly performance spiffs
  • Ramp expectation: 60-90 days to full productivity

Realistic Earning Scenarios
  • At plan: $150K
  • Strong performer: $250K+
  • Top performer: $400K+
Benefits
  • In-office (St. Petersburg or Orlando, FL), hybrid, or fully remote
  • Unlimited PTO with 2-week minimum
  • Premium health, dental, vision, and life insurance
  • 401(k) with 4% company match + access to a financial advisor
  • Gym reimbursement or Calm subscription
Why Otter PR
  • Lead flow: 300+ qualified leads monthly - your calendar stays full
  • Demand: We turn away business due to capacity constraints
  • Premium positioning: We charge more because we deliver more
  • Client base: Household names, unicorn startups, and high-growth founders
  • Sales infrastructure: Proven playbook, top-tier tech stack, industry-leading close rates
  • Culture: Performance-driven, A-player team, top earners celebrated
