Job description

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Ardaman and Associates, a premier engineering firm located in S. Orlando is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented individual with excellent computer skills to support our Human Resources and Safety departments.

Responsibilities:

  • Support recruitment and onboarding processes, including job postings, applicant tracking, offer letter preparation, reference and background checks, scheduling pre-employment screenings, etc.

  • Maintain accurate tracking records for safety-related activities such as meeting attendance, quizzes, audits, and vehicle inspections.

  • Prepare and compile orientation materials for both HR and Safety programs.

  • Assist with departmental projects and internal audits.

  • Create and maintain well-organized, up-to-date filing systems.

  • Perform additional administrative tasks as needed to ensure smooth project execution.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one year of administrative support experience, preferably in HR or a related field.

  • Some college coursework is preferred.

  • Typing speed of 40+ words per minute with high accuracy.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe PDF.

  • Advanced Excel skills are a plus (e.g., formulas, conditional formatting, task automation).

  • Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail and follow-through.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

  • Self-motivated, positive attitude, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
