Senior DevOps Engineer - Huntsville, AL
Full Visibility is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to work in Huntsville, AL. Candidate must possess an active Top Secret/SCI Eligible clearance.
The Senior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for the design, deployment, testing, certification, operations, patching, addressing interoperability issues, of DevSecOps infrastructure tools, including all operating systems, support libraries, components, and application dependencies. Responsible for the primary Operations and Maintenance workforce multiple tools. Deploys and configures services using infrastructure as a service provider. Configures and manages Linux-based servers to serve a dynamic website. Debugs cluster-based computing architectures. Uses scripting or basic programming skills to solve problems. Installs and manages open-source monitoring tools.
Requirements
  • Active Top Secret Clearance/SCI Eligibility; This position may require the successful completion of a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or instead of degree 4 additional years of experience.
  • At least eight (8+) years of DevOps experience.
  • Experience with deployment and automation across Windows and Linux servers.
  • Exposure to AWS.
  • Experience configuring and managing AWS Application Load Balancers (ALB) for scalable and highly available environments.
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools including Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
  • Experience implementing and maintaining caching technologies such as AWS Redis.
  • Experience designing and supporting big data and analytics solutions using Databricks.
  • Ability to understand and manage containerized applications using Docker.
  • Strong backend development experience using Spring Boot and Java-based microservices architectures.
  • Knowledge of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), certificate management, encryption, and secure authentication mechanisms.
  • Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
  • Experience using active learning and analytical thinking in a collaborative, cross-functional team.
