Job description

SMX is seeking a Program Manager to serve as the Government's primary point of contact, providing overall leadership and guidance for all contractor personnel assigned to various programs across PACOM and subordinate commands. The Program Manager will help grow the SMX footprint throughout the PACOM Area of Responsibility (AoR).
The Program Manager must be available to be on-site and at contractor locations in Honolulu, Hawaii-including JBPH-Hickam, Camp Smith, and other sites on island-with travel required to other areas of the AoR. Duties include the assignment of tasks to contractor personnel, supervision of ongoing technical efforts, and management of overall program performance.
The Program Manager is responsible for the effective and efficient management and execution of assigned programs, to include both technical performance and business processes. This role holds the authority to make decisions for the contractor's organization in response to Government concerns and proactively communicates potential contractual, programmatic, or resource impacts to the Government. Periodic travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations is required.
Required Qualifications:
  • Security Clearance required - Active TS/SCI
  • Experience having direct oversight of a program or portfolio valued at ~$100M or more
  • 10+ years of recent experience (within the last 5 years) specific to the PACOM Area of Responsibility
  • Experience managing large-scale C5ISR programs
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in both Business Development and Operations capacities

Desired Qualifications:
  • Active Program Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI
  • Demonstrated experience bringing innovative solutions to technical and management program requirements
  • DAWIA certification-Level II or III
  • Master's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university

$122,000-$183,000 USD
