Role Responsibilities

  • Obtains, assesses, processes, manages and cleans large data sets
  • Utilizes coding language to clean effectivelyโ€”filtering, merging, concatenating, and cleaning data, reviewing reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
  • Manages the data collection, cleaning, and analysis process on the firmโ€™s disparity studies and work for non-governmental, quasi-governmental, and corporate entities as assigned.
  • Acquires data from primary or secondary data sources and maintaining databases/data systems
  • Identifies, analyzes, and interprets trends or patterns in complex data sets; may assist with sampling and surveys
  • Interprets data and analyzes results using statistical techniques; Performs all duties and responsibilities in compliance with standard operating procedures involved in statistical research
  • Provides ongoing reports regarding data analysis both internally to the GSPC team and externally to clients and stakeholders as required
  • Develops an understanding of disparity research methodology and stays abreast of relevant case law
  • Contributes final analysis and drafting of studies and reports
  • May work on ad hoc requests, routine reports, and special studies, and respond to data requests.

Requirements

ยท BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics. Will consider other if proficient in R, Python, or comparable coding language.

ยท Demonstrated teamwork and leadership skills; ability to manage clients and stakeholders

ยท Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
