Job description

Sr. Business Data Analyst - Health Economics
Sr Business Data Analyst - Health Economics
At Mölnlycke, we believe that real impact starts with people. People who are bold enough to challenge the status quo. People who care deeply for their work, their colleagues, and the world around them. People who know exactly why they do what they do.
We are seeking a Sr Business Data Analyst to serve as a key driver of our Strategic Accounts and Health Economics initiatives. This is a high-impact role focused on transforming complex healthcare data into actionable insights that support value-based selling, inform business strategy, and strengthen our position in a competitive market.
Why This Role Matters
This is not a traditional data analyst role.
You will build the data and insights engine that powers our Strategic Accounts and Health Economics strategy - directly influencing how we demonstrate value, shape customer decisions, and protect margin in a highly competitive healthcare landscape.
If you enjoy turning complex healthcare data into strategic insights that drive real business impact, this is a rare opportunity to build something from the ground up.
What You'll Do:

  • Build the Analytics Engine
    • Aggregate and structure multiple data sources into usable frameworks
    • Develop dashboards and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, Excel)
    • Create scalable, standardized reporting solutions
  • Enable Strategic Accounts & Health Economics
    • Support development of:
      • ROI models
      • Value dossiers
      • Clinical and economic impact analyses
    • Partner with Strategic Account Directors and Health Economics leaders
  • Drive Cross-Functional Impact
    • Collaborate across Sales, Marketing, Clinical, and Analytics teams
    • Translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives
    • Occasionally support customer-facing discussions

What We're Looking For
This is NOT a Financial Analyst role; We're looking for a true data analyst and problem solver who can:
  • Work in ambiguity and build from scratch
  • Identify what matters most in complex datasets
  • Connect analysis to business strategy and customer value

Required Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 5 to 7 years' experience with data analysis with strong business acumen.
  • Experience working with healthcare data
  • Strong skills in:
    • SQL (advanced)
    • Excel (advanced)
    • Power BI or Tableau (2+ years)
  • Experience building dashboards and reporting solutions
  • Open to 20% travel

Preferred Background
  • Healthcare industry experience in:
    • Hospitals (value analysis, supply chain)
    • GPOs
    • MedTech, pharma, or healthcare services
  • Exposure to:
    • Strategic accounts
    • Health economics or value-based selling
  • Python or scripting experience

Compensation & Benefits:
Offers of employment consider various factors, including experience, education, location, and role-specific requirements.
Our comprehensive benefits package is designed to support your health, financial well-being, and work-life harmony.
  • Medical, dental and vision plans are available from your first day of employment and provide extensive coverage through multiple options so you can find the right fit for you and your family.
  • Financial benefits include a robust 401(k) plan with company match, profit sharing, tuition reimbursement, life insurance and both flexible spending accounts and health savings accounts.
  • Molnlycke offers generous paid time off, paid parental leave, an Employee Assistance Program and lifestyle perks like discounted access to entertainment and travel.
