Position Summary: Works with students and the entire school community supporting health
needs such as medication administration, first aid, immunization compliance, and workers
compensation documentation, etc. Under the supervision of the Site administrator and Manager
of School Nursing. Assisted on site, as needed, by the assigned registered nurse. Computer use for tasks such as email, submitting attachments, reports, online supply orders, immunization records, etc.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:

• High school diploma or General Education Development certificate
• Certification in one of the following
• Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
• Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)
• Certified Medication Aid (CMA)
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• Health related associate or bachelor's degree preferred
Experience:
• One (1) year experience in K-12 settings that service low-income students and families
preferred
• One (1) year experience in a healthcare setting preferred
Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, Etc.:
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
• Possess or willing to obtain First Aid and CPR certification
