Introduction
As an IBM Consulting FutureNow Center Intern, you'll work alongside experienced professionals to help solve real business and technology challenges for clients
around the world. You'll gain hands-on experience, build in-demand technical and professional skills, and contribute to meaningful projects while learning in a collaborative, team-based environment.
This internship is designed to provide meaningful, hands-on experience that prepares students for a potential full-time career with IBM Consulting upon graduation.
In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting FutureNow Centers, where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
Your role and responsibilities
As a Business Transformation Consultant Intern at IBM, you'll help organizations modernize financial processes, improve operational performance, and drive business transformation through technology, data, and innovation.
As part of our Finance Transformation practice, you'll support initiatives focused on financial operations, business performance, reporting, process optimization, and digital transformation. No two projects are exactly alike-you could support clients across healthcare, financial services, public sector, retail, industrial, manufacturing, and more.
Work side-by-side with experienced consultants, finance professionals, and technology specialists to solve real business challenges. Through mentorship, professional development, structured learning, AI-enabled consulting, and hands-on project experience, you'll build valuable consulting, business, and technology skills while gaining exposure to Fortune 500 clients.
