Job description

Stone, Avant & Daniels, P.C. is a Homewood, AL based CPA firm with business clients located throughout Alabama. We are seeking a motivated CPA, CPA candidate or degreed accountant with prior public accounting experience who desires to work in a public accounting environment without departmentalization.

The position includes compilation, review and possibly audit level accounting work for business clients as well as individual and business tax planning and preparation for clients with multi-state operations. Our firm also provides a host of other business advisory services.

Small business accounting software, including QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online, knowledge is desired. Interaction with construction clients is a plus.

This is a full-time position with moderate overtime required during the busy season and flexible hours during the off season. In office is preferable however a hybrid role will be considered. The firm offers excellent benefits and growth potential.
